I am a paid subscriber to your site but for the love of me, cannot find the latest downloads.
The website just seems to be full of errors - see the attached - after logging in, it takes me to WPADMIN page. I cannot get to the main page downloads section at all.
I am sorry to hear about your experience, My subscription will expire in a couple of months, I selected the Plus and all I can say I am very disappointed. I send emails with questions and get none. I have downloaded Unicenta 5 beta and was not impressed and was hoping in 2 years it will change, now I download the new Unicenta 501 to discover not only nothing has changed but derby is back are we going backwards? The amount of colour changing is madness and the amount of skin is unbelievable. You are trying to download in the wrong area, you need to visit unicenta.com and the download section.
I think only Plus has access to Unicenta 5 project, I hope I am wrong but I have a note saying that Beta is only for Plus users. I hope support for paying users is calculated and not trying to milk the cow much with paid plugins and more, been using this pos for years now but seeing the project going down each year it passes so disappointed.
Sorry to hear your experience has not been good. I'm not sure what happened with your emails but if you could let me know your subscriber id or email I can look into what has happened as we do respond to all emails we receive? As I was saying to @tony1044 the best place for support is through our unicenta.com forum https://unicenta.com/community/support-forum/
Also just to address some of your points
was hoping in 2 years it will change, now I download the new Unicenta 501 to discover not only nothing has changed but derby is back are we going backwards?
Its only been just over a year since our last release (this is a long time I know) and was due to a number of major changes. A big delay was the integration with our website so subscribers can get the plugins for free. We also re-architected the installer and built a native application for all platforms. This was no mean feet and took a long time and a lot of effort. We also integrated with MariaDB and Apache derby. There is also a new uniCenta plugin manager.
I think only Plus has access to Unicenta 5 project, I hope I am wrong but I have a note saying that Beta is only for Plus users
5.0 is for all subscribers but we are staggering the roll-out over 3 weeks due to the major change in the way the application is built and installed (Native applications for all platforms)
I hope support for paying users is calculated and not trying to milk the cow much with paid plugins and more, been using this pos for years now but seeing the project going down each year it passes so disappointed.
Sorry you feel this way. If you could let us know what features you'd like to see or why you think the project is not performing please post here and we'll see what we can do in future releases.
Regards
Hugh

Same here I was given the Linux version V5 along with the source code, and to say I am not impressed, is an understatement.
With all the hype I was expecting something special, but no. I will not be paying to become a subscriber.
uniCenta oPOS 5.0 has a whole new modern look
This exactly the same as the later V4 releases.
Adding Derby seems like a backward step to me as well. What happened to all the dev's in the past, who helped out. Checking the forum seems that the biggest changes occurred between 2013-2015, after that minor tweaks. What changes appeared seem to be thinks that do nothing to enhance the product.
Seeing the comment about no more Java and the mention of GraalVM, I did some investigation, the software still runs on Java except GraalVM takes the running JVM and converts it to binary image.
Is this me just expecting to much, especially if I was going to start a subscription.

Thanks for your feed back and while it is appreciated I do feel I need to respond to some of your comments as they are just not true.
Same here I was given the Linux version V5 along with the source code, and to say I am not impressed, is an understatement.
You can't have the 5.0 source code as it has not been released yet. Once the installer roll-out is complete the sources will be made available.

Just so you know its not GraalVM . Again the 5.0 sources have not been released so how could you know?
Adding Derby seems like a backward step to me as well.
Why is it a backwards step? 5.0 Supports MariaDB, MySql and Derby. The reason for supporting Derby DB is that not all uniCenta users are technical and only need a single terminal. With Derby and a native application non-technical people do not need to install any other dependencies and makes it a lot easier to get up and running fast.

Sorry this is just not true. Please have a look at our change log and you'll see there is vast amount of bug fixes and features. Here is the link if you're interested: https://unicenta.com/support/changelog-unicenta-opos-v4/
This exactly the same as the later V4 releases.
We have implemented a new flat look and feel which gives the antiquated java look and feel a much needed update. Also a new plugin manager with JavaFX.
With all the hype I was expecting something special, but no. I will not be paying to become a subscriber.
That is absolutely fine. We don't expect everyone to become a subscriber. We will continue to support the sourceforge community and continue to provide all the installers and source code 1 release behind the unicenta.com subscribers.
Again appreciate you taking the time to comment and please let us know what features you'd like to see in any of the upcoming uniCenta releases.

@fanzam - all you need to do is run the following maven command .
mvn clean package
Just an fyi the code that @pomacentridae posted (I've deleted that now) is not anything that we have supplied so please if you've downloaded it use at your own risk.

You can record a video explaining the compilation of the source code
You can put a file pom.xml
@fanzam - all you need to do is run the following maven command .
Just an fyi the code that @pomacentridae posted (I've deleted that now) is not anything that we have supplied so please if you've downloaded it use at your own risk.

You can put a video to learn how to compile the source code
@pomacentridae consider this your last warning to be respectful and read the forum etiquette before you post again https://sourceforge.net/p/unicentaopos/discussion/1126900/thread/453dbf3492/
