Unclutter runs in the background of an X11 session and after a specified period of inactivity hides the cursor from display. When the cursor is moved its display is restored. Users may specify specific windows to be ignored by unclutter.

  • This is a great tweak. 5-stars! Personally, I don't use it on desktop machines, with small cursors and large displays. IMO 'unclutter' adds 'clutter' to my desktop rigs, but with trackpad-driven cursors on small laptop displays, it's a godsend. Thanks!
