I have just installed the latest build for Ubuntu 10.10, the remember playback position now works. Thanks! But when I pause the file the program stutters and the icon on the program panel flashes between being there and disappearing…

When using the skip and pause function the video start skipping and audio is out of sync.
I'm using windows and 720p MKV file.
Is there a problem with the caching function when skipping or pausing?

I have also a problem with a pause function, if I pause a video and try to start it again it (most of the time) does not start again. I have to stop the playback completely and then press "play" again, umplayer then starts playing the video from where it was paused.
I also have this issue with smplayer.

same problem here. although you don't have to stop to resume the video. just click the current position in the time bar

I have the above mentioned bug with pause/resume - video won't start playng after a tap the pause button. Any way to fix it? Mplayer works fine.

Hi, like I said before, I am unable to reproduce the bug, therefore unable to fix it :X

It would be of huge help if anyone that can reproduce this bug post the log file so we could at least try to debug the problem and hopefully fix it once and for all. To do so simply try to load a video and reproduce the bug, after the bug has happened press Ctrl+S a small dialog would appear containing the application log, and just copy the text and paste it back here.

    Thanks,
    Ori

    Hi,
had the same problem with smplayer, solved the problem by setting audio from alsa to pulse (found the solution here http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=847575 ).
