I was kind of looking for this kind of framework last year and was excited to see one now….Before I start looking into this, I am wondering if this is being used in production at all?

These UJO objects are successfully used in several commercial projects.

The Ujorm module 0.90 is a functional, but a relatively young solution and therefore I recommend this version I suggest instead on smaller projects. I expect a release suitable for production in the second half of 2010.
