I can't find any option to select the file type, and when I click the "Save" button, it saves to a .ppm file (that has absolutely no EXIF data at all). > It is possible that it decodes the DNGPrivateData tag. These tags are present in all camera-generated files, whether DNG, PEF, TIF or JPG. I only use PhotoME to confirm my camera's firmware whenever Pentax issues a silent firmware update (which they do frequently). It's the only way to see what specific firmware version is actually in the camera. Attached is a screenshot of just some of the extra data displayed by PhotoME. -- Frank Gore Project Manager www.projectpontiac.com |
