Can't load the curves I used with 0.4

I get the an error message when I try to load any of the curve files made available with 0.4. The text says:

"Error parsing <path to file> Error on line 1 char 5: Document must begin with an element (e.g. <book>).

Am I doing something wrong?

  The curve format is changed on UFRaw 0.5. The old curves can no longer be used.
