I also posted this to uddi-technical since it was also posted there.... but in case others on the UDDI4J list have a similar question.... The idea is you are trying to find bindings conforming to a particular service type, also known as a tModel. The tModelbag is, as the UDDI schema and Programmer's Reference should indicate, the mandatory element for finding bindingtemplates. As an example if you look up the uddi-org:publication tModel you will find that the tModelkey is: UUID:64C756D1-3374-4E00-AE83-EE12E38FAE63 If you then populate that key into the tModelBag, it should return several bindings for UDDI publication endpoints. The behavior at the MS and IBM nodes seems to be correct, it should be returning an error. I hope this helps. Subject: Problems using IBM Server, but not on Ariba, Microsoft I've written a UDDI client application that lets users drill down to view specific services of a company. Using the IBM UDDI server everything works fine until I do a find_binding() on my proxy object. It complains that the responce doesn't contain the necessary "tModelBag". But I never get this exception if I switch to use the Microsoft or Ariba servers.
