hi guys, please check ubraa wiki. may update ako. please give me n lang feedbacks. this is just how we do. btw, i changed the permission to private kc not final p nmn ung mga documents and i dont want the public to see it in its raw form. so please login muna before looking at the wiki. meron lang isang problema, it seems pag private ang wiki, nagkakaprob sa login. when i try using firefox, pagdating ko ng wiki, logout ako pero pagbalik sa ibang link sa ubraa, nklogin nmn ako. may nabasa ako sa support n ok nmn ito sa IE7 so i tried it and it worked! wl nmn resolution ang SF support dito so gnun lang muna ang ginawa ko. just change it n lang if you want to change the wiki's permission. Here is the link: http://ubraa.wiki.sourceforge.net/Plan+-+Phase+1 isa pang tnong, hindi b ntin kailangan ang srili nting PMS? why not use assembla para malaman who's doing what? cheers, primerg |

let's just use sourforge wiki...no need to build from scratch, ubraa project alone is enough for now. 2008/2/8 Garri Santos <gar...@ph...>: > 2008/2/8 pinktada <pin...@gm...>: > > > > > > > > > > > ---------- Forwarded message ---------- > > From: pinktada <pin...@gm...> > > Date: 2008/2/8 > > Subject: Re: [Ubraa-general] Suggestion > > To: Garri Santos <gar...@ph...> > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Hi primerg! > > > > > > I haven't really used a wiki for private communication, things might > > > get tangled up if we use a wiki system as messaging system + > > > writeboard + native wiki feature. Hi Garri, I think I understand ur point (or maybe not?) ang sa akin nmn, hindi b pwedeng gwin un sa isang tool or place lang? Parang create a place then let the users decide how they want to use it in their own way (creativity). If its a private to private talk, pwede nmn add permission sa wiki.. if its collaboration, mas ok ang wiki kc u can let others to publicly edit it or just allow comments. the gud thing about wiki, u have the history (which i think meron din nun sa basecamp, very wiki style tlg eh..) Hindi nmn sa against ako sa message and writeboards, i just cant find the essence kc sa isip ko, they have almost the same functionalities, iba iba lang ang way ng paggamit. maybe misleading ang term n wiki since hindi n sya wiki kpg hindi sya publicly editable.. ung mga suggested nga n commeting and permission doesnt make it a wiki n tlg.. anyway those are just my ideas.. let me know why its not a good idea or maybe kung anong cons ang dulot nun kpg inilagay ntin lahat sa isang place lang.. === pahabol sa req ng wiki - add ability to delete a page Cheers, primerg On Feb 8, 2008 10:46 AM, Garri Santos <gar...@ph...> wrote: > Hi primerg! > > IMO Messages, writeboards and wikis should be separated. Hi primerg! IMO Messages, writeboards and wikis should be separated. Since messages are usually for person to person private talk, writeboards are for collaboration, brainstorming, temporary records for ideas since you can comment on a certain writeboard and wikis can contain that finalize idea. Regards, Garri |

Hi, While reviewing the features for Ubraa, I am thinking how to simplify things. Sa ngayon ns communication tools pako. Instead of Messages and Writeboards, why not use Wikis kaya? check the ffg for the suggested functionality. - can have the option of draft and publish (think of wordpress) - can add categories and tags (dito magpla-play ung i categorize mo sya as Message or Writeboard) - if publish, can choose who can see it and edit it. In this case, when PM wants to talk with other PMs, they can just set to let PMs view or edit it. And they can also allow per person. - can enable comments. This option is displayed when you dont allow anyone to edit it but you want to have the opinion of others. - add history. one of the important part of a wiki is the history - for the textarea, copy how wordpress do it. there is an area for WYSWYG editor and then for advance users, they can have the html editor - can upload files, magiging shortcut interface ito ng "Files Sharing" Sa case nmn when your writing tickets or projects, we can reuse this wiki (simplified) para sa textarea ng mga un. Ano sa palagay nyo? - primerg -- petixe.com |
