While there is not a bug per se with this event, it does not do what the FRUA Combat Treasure event does.
The FRUA event integrates whatever treasure is to be given with treasure that would be found on the monsters after the combat. FRUA also places the Combat Treasure event before the Combat event.
ProphetSword explained it thusly:
"things in the stuff carried around by the monsters. And I'll give you an example of why it's important:
Say you want to award the party with a +1 Longsword. You decide one of the Gnolls in your dungeon is carrying one. The other Gnolls carry standard Longswords.
In UA, you add a Combat Treasure event with the +1 Longsword. It will add it to the next combat that fires (so, even if the combat fired later in the dungeon, that +1 Longsword would still be added).
So, we fire off our Gnolls, the party defeats them, and starts looking through the treasure. There are a bunch of Longswords listed. Now, unless they use the Detect Magic spell, they won't know that one of the Longswords in the bunch is magical.
Doing it the other way...you have a combat, the party finds the stuff carried by the monsters. You then go to the Give Treasure event, which now has the Longsword +1 (whether identified or not) standing alone in your event. So, the party will immediately find it and know that it's special. You can't *hide* it among the other stuff.
It's not practical to create new monsters for each treasure situation either."
