1.HOW TO USE

U4UrduPad is very easy to use and u can Learn using it in a few minutes.

U4UrduPad's Default Keymapping is based on PHONETIC keyboard Layout
which mean "a" = "alif" , "b" = "bey" , "s" = "seen" , "S" = "swaad".
(To view the keyboard, go to the
like Keyboard >>keyboard , OR press Ctrl + K).
Note:- The Keyboard is CASE SENSITIVE.

Press the SPACE BAR after typing each word so that the Urdu characters form
their shape according to their position.

2.MENUS AND TOOLBARS

File >>

New __ Creates a new file.
Open __ Open an already saved u4u file
Save __ Saves the current file as a u4u file
SaveAs __ saves a copy of the current file
Page Setup __ Set the page for printing.
Print __ Prints the current file
Close __ Closes the current file.
Close all ___ Closes all the open files.
Exit __ Exits the U4UrduPad

EDIT >>

Cut __ cuts the selected text and adds it to the clipboard.
Copy __ copy the selected text.
Cut __ cut the selected text,
Paste __ pastes the contents of the clipboard at the current curson location
Delete __ clears the selected text area.

VIEW >>

Toolbars>>
Standard __ Show the standard toolbar
Font ___ Show the font toolbar
Others __ Show the others toolbars

Ruler __ Show the ruler
Status Bar __ Show the status Bar
File Tree View __ Show the file tree View.
Documents Tab __ Show the documents Tab.

INSERT>>

Time and Date __ To insert time and date at cursor position.
Picture ___ To insert picture at cursor position.
Object ___ To insert object at cursor position.

FORMAT>>

Bold ___ Make the selected text bold.
Italic ___ Make the selected Text italic.
Underline __ Make the selected Text underline.

KEYBOARD >>

Keyboard __ View the Urdu Keyboard.

LANGUAGE >>

Change Language __ To shift between Urdu and English Language.

3.TROUBLESHOOTING

If u get Illegel Operation Call message when u start the application , then u need to uninstall the program and then
Install it again.
If u install the software and when u type some urdu text and u see BOXES or some other characters instead of urdu characters , then do the following steps.

Restart your computer.
