Ok, I'd say it's alpha by now. Still trying to figure how to navigate sourceforge. But, with this release, many, many bugs have been worked out. I can't think of anymore ways that I could screw up input enough for it to give a bad result or an infinite loop. I'll do some janitorial work and release again.
v0.0.3 was released. It is almost fully functional. All functions work and operators work. But there are plenty of bugs. I am currently working on setting up the svn, which requires me learning svn. After that I'm going to implement constants (an hours work at best) and then work on having a decent make file and putting the files in their proper location on a linux machine. After that I will consider it alpha, I'll work on error handling and send it to beta. Squash the bugs and I'll call it a 1.0 release.
The second release of the v0.0 series is out. As you can imagine, it is ultra pre-alpha. I put in an octave backend to make it somewhat usable while I work on parsing inputs. I started to modularize the program as well.
Be warned though, this program is barely usable as is.
