I am also still trying to figure out how I can do that. I have no idea how to compile/merge things. The zoom button I think is the only thing missing from TuxGuitar :( Can you please help?

Thank you for your help Marko, but the build instructions are absolutely useless. Your project is in Github, while TuxGuitar is in SourceForge. I'm getting "org.apache.subversion.javahl.ClientException: E200030: SQLite error" while I try to checkout with the HTTPS link. I couldn't get past that point.

I also think that zooming in and out is a feature missing in Tuxguitar. I would like to see it included in next release. "Porfa", pleeeeaaase ; )
Also, the grey in the chord diagrams could be a little darker, perhaps? Mind you, I am still using version 1.2. I will get to install the latest one of these days.

I created an unofficial branch with the patch included: https://github.com/brockdev/tuxguitar

In order for the patch to be included in an official release, the project admin (akdmia) should include it in the next update.

In the latest release 1.5.1 the zoom in/out are included in menus though not with "magnifier" buttons in the toolbar (would have been very handy).
