The attached /opt/tuxguitar/tuxguitar.sh lets you create a symlink to e.g. /usr/local/bin/tuxguitar and then start TuxGuitar from the command line like every other program. You can also open a file directly from the command line (e.g. tuxguitar myfile.tg), and some file dialogs now start in your home or working directory, not in /opt/tuxguitar.
