Hello to everyone and a special hello to all tuxcmd regulars. Is there a keyboard shortcut for: File -> Create Symlink? If not can it be defined? Sophoklis |

Hello, I have an issue when starting using tuxcmd. I'm running it on ubuntu 12.04. "Search archive" checkbox is grayed out in the Search panel. Anybody knows how to enable it? |

Hello Mates, atm i'm trying to build an RPM Package for openSUSE. So i've downloaded tuxcmd-0.6.70.tar.bz2 and wrote an *.spec (attached). I'm building with make debug. After Packaging i'm trying to start tuxcmd, and got an error. sascha@linux-m4rp:~/osc/openSUSE:Factory:Contrib/libtinyxml> tuxcmd An unhandled exception occurred at $00007FBABBD11428 : EInvalidOp : Invalid floating point operation $00007FBABBD11428 $00007FBABBD23C83 $00007FBABBD2D927 $00007FBAC176C2AB So i've made an backtrace: #0 0x00007ffff1857428 in gdk_rectangle_intersect () from /usr/lib64/gtk-2.0/2.10.0/engines/libqtcurve.so #1 0x00007ffff1869c83 in ?? Hi all, I'm not sure if I just can't find these features, they are broken in my situation or if they don't exist. I run KDE: 1. Right click highlighting ala TotalCMD. 2. Drag and dropping. 3. Pressing Shift-F6 to rename a file (I thought I saw this referenced in the config, but it didn't work). 4. Anyway to get the file size display to display in [Kilo|Mega|Giga]Bytes? 5. Anywhere I can make donations to the project? I am running tuxcmd-dev-0.5.39-bin. Thanks!!, -- Daniel Jimenez <djimenez[at]pobox[dot]com> |

Hello, I would like to notice you, that the new testing snapshot of Tux Commander has just been released. Please note that this version is for testing only and may damage your data since there have been a lot of changes in the program core. You can download it on the project homepage: http://tuxcmd.sourceforge.net/ This version includes working VFS with gnome-vfs connection plugin (FTP and SMB are working at this moment). The other VFS modules will follow. Please feel free to test it and write some notes. ---- Tomas Bzatek |

Dear Open Source developer I am doing a research project on "Fun and Software Development" in which I kindly invite you to participate. You will find the online survey under http://fasd.ethz.ch/qsf/. The questionnaire consists of 53 questions and you will need about 15 minutes to complete it. With the FASD project (Fun and Software Development) we want to define the motivational significance of fun when software developers decide to engage in Open Source projects. What is special about our research project is that a similar survey is planned with software developers in commercial firms. This procedure allows the immediate comparison between the involved individuals and the conditions of production of these two development models. Thus we hope to obtain substantial new insights to the phenomenon of Open Source Development. With many thanks for your participation, Benno Luthiger PS: The results of the survey will be published under http://www.isu.unizh.ch/fuehrung/blprojects/FASD/. We have set up the mailing list fa...@we... for this study. Please see http://fasd.ethz.ch/qsf/mailinglist_en.html for registration to this mailing list. _______________________________________________________________________ Benno Luthiger Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich 8092 Zurich Mail: benno.luthiger(at)id.ethz.ch _______________________________________________________________________ |
