What exactly do you have in mind? In Thunar, the only commands I found were 'Extract here' and 'Extract to...' in the popup menu. The 'Extract archive' command was planned to be included in main menu beside the upcoming 'Test archive' command however it's not a bad idea to include them in the popup menu as well.

I meant the stuff you define yourself. For instance, when I right-click a .jpg file, give me the option to either view (load it in gqview) or edit it (load in GIMP). In essence, option to add custom right-click menu entries which then (sort of) dynamically modify it (no point in loading it in gqview if it's an audio file).
As for the extract archive, glad to hear it's upcoming :)

Just a quick note, I do understand you can add actions to particular filetypes, am just thinking it would be better if one could put the non-default actions in a separate (sub) menu, and lose the "Open with" prefix. Maybe that's possible even now, I don't know. Just a thought.
