Just wanted to clarify that the same behavior occurs in XFCE.
The reason I've added the desktop environment parameter was
that I wrongfully thought I did not observe that on my XFCE
netbook. It would have been better if I had first double-checked
before checking, sorry.
So, let me explain some more, suppose you want to quick search
in order match a file named: Screenshot023.png
Hitting 'S' will get that capital S into the command-line below
but hitting 's' will start matching 'Screenshot023.png' and
will eventually lead you there.
But why would hitting a capital letter get you in command line
while you have selected to just quick search only with letters?

Hello, I'm using Tux Commander 0.6.70-dev in Gnome 3.12.2.
Quick search seems to be non-functioning if the first keys are capital
but it will work with: lowercase letters, numbers, dot, brackets, ...
Any one has an idea why is this happening and if it can be fixed?
Thanks in advance,
Sophoklis
