Feature Request:.

When I'm on Windows (nowadays, nearly never), I use Total Commander, always.
I've gotten so used to it, I don't use anything else.

I like Tux Commander when I'm on Linux, it has kind of the same feel as Total Commander.
Except for a few features which it's still missing.
I read the Development page, and see that the FTP and packer stuff will come eventually (I hope soon), also with the internal viewer.

But there's a few things I have to suggest:
    - CTRL+LEFT/RIGHT opens the directory on the other side.
    - being able to set comma's or dots in the bytes (43864 to 43,864 -- is a lot easier to read this way)
    - holding SHIFT selects files/folders

    Also a little bug that I have noticed;
When you are downloading a file of, say, 50 MB, and the file is at 25 MB, and you open Tux Commander.
You go to wherever the file is being saved, and see that the file is 25 MB.
The file continues to download, and when it's done, you ASSUME that TC has updated the file-field.
But it hasn't, so I assume it'll do that once I'm moving the file, so, without CTRL+R or anything I move the file to another location.
    What happens next surprised me.
The file, after being moved was 25 MB.. even though it was finished.

The problem here being that it didn't update the file/folder.

Well, I won't nag any further now, hehe.
I'll just wait for version 1 for everything to be fixed/implemented (while using it).

TC looks good, feels like Total Commander (which is a good thing, in my opinion), and is a very good tool for managing files.
    Keep up the good work.

What'd also be a real good feature (for me, and for many others) is a search-dialog when you type, and if you want to do a command (in the bottom textbox), you press the up-key (or something).
      That would _really_ improve speed.

At first, sorry for the long time, I was very busy last few weeks.

      > - CTRL+LEFT/RIGHT opens the directory on the other side.
OK, I will add to the wishlist.

      > - being able to set comma's or dots in the bytes (43864 to 43,864 -- is a lot easier to read this way)
This is already implemented in the development version.

      > - holding SHIFT selects files/folders
This is planned and is on the ToDo list.

that strange bug with the incorrect file size: I tested it right now and it is working, the file has the full length. Also, if I take a look at the code, the list of the files to be copied is build when you confirm the Copy dialog and also every file is copied by some big blocks and it never counts the filesize (except for updating the progress bars).

search-dialog: try pressing Ctrl+S or Alt+S, this will turn you to the quick-search mode, Escape quits. This is described in the shortcuts list on the homepage.

commandline history: Try pressing Ctrl+N, Ctrl+P, this works anywhere (also, this is described on the homepage too :-). Pressing Up or Down key in the commandline entry will turn you back to the panel.

What I mean, is if you type, (without pressing ALT+S), you search for files/folders.
NOT type in the command line thing.
You could make the command line hidden and open the command line when pressing up/down.

OK, added to my private wishlist ;-)
I think it could be useful feature...
