When trying to backup a converted set of data an
error showing Invalid Filename is displayed when
trying to select the data location.
If you proceed the following is displayed.
Cannot open file "C:\PROGRAM FILES\TURBOCASH4
\T3sfx.bin". The system cannot find the file specified
When trying to Backup a standard database (KLUSSER-A
for example) the Invalid Filename error does not show
but the above error does show when you try to
proceed.
If you copy the file T3sfx.bin from an old
TC3.7.X.XXX installation the local dat aBackup works.
The problem appears to be that when you try to
perform a backup over the Firebird framework the
Database path on the remote server would be something
like this
/Data/{Company name}/books.FDB
unfortunately this is the downfall of the
backupprocess. I have not tried the Resotre prog yet
but I suspect it will be very similar.
