Hi,
i have a problem with the hotkeys in tuniac. If i minimize in tray the application the hotkeys doesn't work. They work only if i maximize it or minimize it in the application bar.
The Operating system is Windows Vista 32bit.
Thanks

Are you talking about your keybaords multimedia keys for media control or Tuniac defines hotkeys such as winkey + numpad5 for play/pause?
I find that my Microsoft Digital Media Pro keyboards multimedia keys fail if the application is minimized to the tray but Tuniacs global hotkeys continue to work.
I believe the multimedia keys failing is a fault of Windows or the keyboard driver and not Tuniac.
hi,
i have tried the hotkeys defined in tuniac (winkey+numpad5 and others) and effectively they work also when minimized in tray.
the problem is with the multimedia keys, but it also doesn't work in windows xp when minimized in tray.
I have a laptop and the keyboard is recognized as launch manager, because i have installed the acer launch manager, but also if i remove it and is recognized as simple ps/2 keyboard the multimedia keys doesn't work...
I dont believe this is fixable without hacks at trying to implement things that Windows does not support which could cause undesired effects in the long term.
Can I try to wriggle out of responsibility and ask that you just use Tuniacs own defined global hotkeys(Winkey+numpad) as a solution or is it a pain to reach these hotkeys on the laptop? :p
with my notebook the hotkeys defined in tuniac are hard to use, because without enabling the block num the numpad keys doesn't work (i must press win+fn+i, to play for example, and it doesn't work, even if i enable bloc num and the 'i' button become only 5 of the numpad). So to use hotkeys defined in tuniac i must enable bloc num, press hotkeys and disable the bloc num.. This is not very confortable!!!
I'll work on making the hotkeys configurable so that you could change them yourself to something easier to hit on the laptop keyboard.
Ok, thanks. The hotkeys configurable is a good idea :)
