I would really like to see the ability to
choose/control music and search from Shared libraries.

i totally agree!
our network computer plays off our shared libraries and i
can't access them. so the only thing i can use it for is
seeing what the song name is, volume, and forward and back,
which is great. this program is so much better than netTunes.
