Suddenly, tunapie won't download anything. Starting it from a terminal, nothing happens until I click the Play arrow, then I see:

Found it! This installation follows a system reinstall, and I had overlooked mplayer-gui.
In addition, after reading the Web page, I installed the python-egenix package. This doesn't seem to be mentioned in the INSTALL file.
