    Do you already have a datafile that reads mesh (or creates it) and launches computations ?
    if yes, you can copy that datafile and add a line to write (post-process) domain in med format with something like :
    postraiter_domaine { domaine dom fichier mesh1 format med }
    You can add 'end' keyword to stop datafile's interpreter after having post-processed domain.

    This will post-process domaine named dom in med format and write it in mesh1_0000.med

    You can also use lata_to_med in two different manners :

    1. from datafile : you can either :
      a) write its syntax after solve problem in the computation datafile (see example.data)
      b) or, write it in a separate datafile that you run if your computation has ended (separate_datafile_for_conversion.data here attached).

    2. use a python script named Lata_to_med.py that will convert your lata to med : the syntax to use is :
      source $TRUST_ROOT/lib/src/LIBMEDCOUPLING/install/env.sh
      source $TRUST_ROOT/exec/lata2dx_install/env.sh
      python $LATALOADER_ROOT/lib/Lata_to_med.py example.lata example2.med dom 1
      where dom is the domain's name and 1 means that we want only mesh. if you do not add domain name and 1 for mesh only, all the lata (mesh+fields) will be converted to med. mesh will be written into example2.med
