If you have or don't mind installing gettext-devel you > can try even rerunning the bootstrap.sh I stepped through bootstrap.sh command by command (as root, in the end), including running 'aclocal -I m4' (which I got a message about), then ./configure again, then make, and it worked! Thanks ever so much. 'make install' also fine, so things are looking good. mike@dionysus:~/programming/TPM$ tpm_version TPM Version: 01010006 Manufacturer Info: 415...etc. Now to start playing.
