Hi All, I am using Dell Latitude D 830 with TPM version 1.2 from Broadcom. I successfully installed TrouSerS and tpm-tools and then I run the tcsd service, however, some of the tpm-tools are not working and we cannot execute the tpm_takeownership, tpm_getpubek etc commands. It gives the error "this command has been disabled". It executes the tpm_version command and gives the version of the tpm, but mostly commands are not executing. Is it a version problem? I took the owner ship of the tpm in windows once, but after getting errors in the linux, i disabled and cleared the TPM from the bios and then enabled again. Now, Fedora core 6, is also initializing the tpm by using the command init_tpm /etc/bootkeys, after the modprobe tpm_tis but tpm_tools commands are not working. Please guide me through, where i am doing wrong. Regards, MM Alam |
