#38 Question on MAILFROMADDRESS

I am using tripwire-2.3.1-17.i386.rpm.
In tripwire of open source, can you specify
MAILFROMADDRESS?

It is possible to use it in the product version.

In the Mail Sending person address in the rule of Fire
Wall, it is
user-name "@ host. Isn't there method though it wants
to use not
domain "but" user @ domain"?

The error when the configuration file was made did not
go out.

No, MAILFROMADDRESS is not currently supported in the Open
Source version of Tripwire. Feel free to file an RFE
(request for enhancement) and we'll see if it can't get
added (very simple change).
