Hello, This looks like a useful thing. Could you store the draw_units property in the UIContext rather than a static variable in TileManager. UIContext stores information about what should be drawn, and how to draw things. TripleAMenu has a method getUIContext(), and TileManager also has an m_uiContext field. Also, could you synch with the latest svn before giving a new patch. I was working on a couple changes that conflicted with yours. I checked in my changes, and these should merge with your without a problem.
