TripleA ver. 1.2.5.5: In World War II v3 both 1941 and 1942: When a power gets the Shipyards advance the TUV decreases to its now new prices. This does not make sense. The value of a unit is not decreased because it is purchased at a lower cost because of new technology. It also makes it unnecessarily hard to compare unit force between the powers.
TUV currently functions just fine, and is there as a value added but unnecessary feature
it is not worth changing the TUV calculator and possibly introducing a bug
a better way to compare forces is to actually look at what forces players have and where they are on the map
I use the TUV as one indicator of which way the war is going. I understand how ever that you may not want to change something that sort of work. But I hope you can admit to that it is illogic for TUV for a power to go down just because that power gained shipyard advance.
this is a feature request, not a bug,
please close this, or move it to feature requests.
The person who is in charge of this "bugzilla" may of course do as he pleases with this report. But I am not going to label it a feature request when it is points out something that is clearly wrong with the program. The value of a car does not go down just because you were allowed to buy it cheaper than everybody else.
