Now I load additional packages from a local webserver, windows or linux.
But I want to be able to load them from a local system through Samba from a
shared windows-directory. I found out I'll have to use the packages smbmount
and smbcore to be able to load addition package trough Samba. Together
approx. 700 kB !!!
These packages are too big to fit on a boot-floppy.
Has anyone an idea to have another way to use samba-mounts for additional
packages-loading?
A smaller program for Linux?
(With BSD it's possible to use a very small program to mount samba-shares,
but its author says this program won't work for Linux.)
700kB for a single task: mounting a Windows-system frustrates me.
