Hallo, Tomá?, Du meintest am 20.01.07 zum Thema [Trinux-talk] Let's build a new Trinux version: > Who would be interested to help me develop it? > I'd like to base it on Debian 3.1 sarge, or maybe 3.2 etch to make it > last longer. Trinux has based on slackware - it may be the most simple base. Trinux has a few packages, Trinux doe not need a software package management. Look at zenwalk or at "ranr" if you will see a small slackware derivate. If you look deep enough into Debian you will find tarballs too ... but often they are much older than the original slackwarepackages. May be one bigger problem is a small kernel: kernel 2.4.32 fits onto a disk, kernel 2.6.17 doesn't fit. Viele Gruesse! Helmut |
