Hi, I am new to this list and trinux also. Hello everybody. I have downloaded and used the trinux-cardbus-16may04.img for floppy booting an old Toshiba-500CS laptop. It boots fine and it also finds the attached 3com nic model 3CCFE575BT which requires the 3c59x kernel module automatically. The only lack is that there is no ide support build in. I tried to load kernelmodules but they mismatch the kernel and seem incomplete also. So I tried the pcmcia-090602.img but this version does not find the cardbus and the supported ide does not help me without lan access. The current trinux.img has ide support, too, but no cardbus nor pcmcia. Trying to add it was unsuccesful, too. I aim to floppy boot a linux with cardbus and ide support with a couple of tools (ssh client, dd, fdisk, tar). How can I do this with trinux? Greetings from Braunschweig, Germany. Sascha |
