I am new to Trinux. I downloaded and ran the usb version and that is working just fine. However, I think that I need to add a kernel package in order to detect and use the ethernet card. I have never been able to find a place that will tell me where the kernel modules are, which ones I need or what to do with them once I have them. I have been able to download varius utilities to /trinux/bootpkg on the usb drive. the commandcommand # dmesg | grep eth0 returns null and the command # ifconfig eth0 retuns saying that the ethernet card is not recognized. What do I do? thanks in advance -matthew |
