No exactly, the stored configuration is in the boot partition in a fat 
filesystem as explain the manual. Is in c:\trinux\tux\config, but every time 
trinux boots creates is own /etc/tux/config without copying the config files 
in c:\trinux\tux\config. Look for point 1.4 in the manual 
(http://trinux.sourceforge.net/docs.txt) to see my exact installation.

The same again. Trinux don't use the modules in c:\trinux\modules

No, I have the module 8139too in c:\trinux\modules but after trinux boots 
this module isn't in /lib/modules

I don't know because Trinux boots very very fast. Could I see boot errors 
after booting the system in some log file?
