Hi I am attempting to build a server which boots from a 256MB CF into a UNIX I have started gathering parts and am interested in using Trinux as the OS, all I need is RAID drivers, Intel 1000 TX and an NFS server it appears the NIC and NFSD are already available. The system is a 1.2 GHz P3 with 512MB RAM and 64 bit PCI Intel 1000 TX, the RAID card has not been purchased but it will have linux driver sources and hanging off the controller will be 8 x 200 GB disks in a RAID 5 configuration. Can anyone think of any pitfalls here, any advice would be much appreciated. I am trying to get as much speed from the NFS Server as possible with the hardware. Thanks in advance.
