This question should be directed to some darkstat-list, but since darkstat comes with Trinux may be some of you can tell me what happened. When I tried darkstat (the version that comes with the current Trinux bundle) for the first time, a few weeks ago, I got in my Trinux-console a colorful (n)top-like display of ongoing network connections. Its man page even had a -m switch to turn it monochrome. It was useful for just having a permanent (and not so changing as a sniffer) display of activity. But after a restart of Trinux there isn't any such "darkstat", now I have the (more current ?) port 666 mini-server only (which, nevertheless, is also very useful and worth to have). The top display is gone, also the man page is different... e.g. -m switch is not there. Something I missed ? Thanks David Ramirez Bogotá - Colombia Active (24x7) Trinux user. |
