Hi, I am new to trinux, looking at it specifically for the tn5250 that was mentioned in the archives (subject:trinux5250) =20 I went to the instructions web site: http://www.bredeau.com/~mathieu/TriNux5250/TriNux5250En.html/frame.html And followed the instructions, there appear to be no errors when the = script runs (once I removed afew extensions from files). It loads the baselib, term, kmap, and tn5250 packages just fine (no errors reported on the = screen) I commented out the reboot command in the 'last' file so I could do debugging. After boot, and the first run through of the script I then = end up at a screen to press any key for a prompt. I do that, then I try = running the script from there, that is where I get a chance to read the screen. = At then end, I get an error that it isn't finding "libncurses.so.5" I do = not see that in the /lib directory, there are many other lib* files there though. =20 Do I need too add another package to get ncurses? I saw an old message = that said it was part of the 'term.tgz' package. I have the following files = in my server directory that the floppy points to: As400kmap.tgz Baselib (removed tgz because the script doesn't have the extension) Edit_server (for changing as400 IP) Kmap (keyboard map for tn5250) Script.tgz (package load script) Term (removed tgz because the script doesn't have the extension) Tn5250 (removed tgz because the script doesn't have the extension) I also commented out the "rm" commands in the script to make sure they didn't remove anything needed. Can someone help point me in the right direction? Thank You, Michael Alexander |
