Can you point me in the right direction on this? I used Rawwrite.exe in Windows 2000 to create Trinux boot floppy from trinux-0.80rc2-ide.img. I have a netgear fa310tx nic. Trinux boots up fine and loads the default packages from the internet. However when I run tcpdump or anyother sniffer it refuses to go into promiscuous mode. Also I am unable to get any additional packages to load on boot up. If I mount the floppy and edit /mnt/tux/config/pkglist and save the file it still only loads the default packages. I will then find the new lines were not saved in pkglist. I did mount the floppy. I even tried editing pkglist on windows. Closing and going back in to confirm the edit was saved. Then boot Trinux and the edit is erased. Thanks for your help. I'm not sure how to view tri...@li... for your reply so if you could reply to mcd...@ya... that would be helpful. --------------------------------- Do you Yahoo!? The New Yahoo! Search - Faster.
