Forum, =20 I am a newbie to TRINUX, but not necessarily Linux. I am trying to set the IP to a static address. I had found an old post telling me to create an eth0 file in the /tux/config folder. I did that and it worked. The same post also said to create a DNS file to set a static DNS server. I did this but I was not successful. I am unable to resolve any addresses. The address I listed was a valid W2K DNS Server which we use for internal network. So I know it is working properly. There must be something wrong with that DNS file. Can you please advise? =20 Thanks in advance. =20 Kind Regards, JMB |
