What does not work properly? What tells "route -n"?

Sounds strange ... a new packet with a new "route" should do the job  
(and the old packeage should do it, too).
The original "route" is part of "basenet.tgz".

If the new kernel fits onto the disk - delete the old kernel and put  
the new onto the disk.
If you use many modules: the modules have to be put "somehow" into  
"lib/modules"...".
