This is the output of my trinux boot sequence: Executing [prenet] Looking for eth0 Bringing down eth0 Found static network configuration. Configuring eth0 SIOCSIFADDR: No such device SIOCSIFNETMASK: No such device SIOCGIFFLAGS: No such device SIOCADDRT: Network is unreachable eth0: error fetching interface information: Device not found =2E.. I have set ether=3D3,0x240,eth0 to the append line in syslinux.cfg. IRQ3 and IO base address 240 is how my NE2000 capatible card is configure= d. I am using the trinux-0.80rc2-net.img. My ethernet card is IBM LAN 10baseT card with an AT/Lantic chip. I have also tried my trinux boot floppy with a Kingston KNE20T NIC and I get the same results. =20 What am I missing? I know both of these cards work with the Linux kernel= =20 ne2000 driver as I use them in other PC's running Linux. Thanks, Randy --=20 Randy Walworth IS Manager Seattle Indian Health Board |
