Are there plans to have more ext3 support?

I'm looking to build a trinux version that will let me clone whatever 
linux fs I want, starting with support for ext2, ext3, and reiser.

Getting to ext3 from ext2 is simple enough as a post cloning ritual if 
necessary.

I can just boot from a different floppy distro and run:

tune2fs -j /dev/hdX

...but it's be nice if it were all in one place.
