I have compiled busybox 0.60.3 on slackware 7.1 and replaced the busybox on one of my boot floppies with the 0.60.3 version. My ls is now in color, when I type poweroff I get the same responses as if I had typed halt instead of the applet not found error (still does not power off the laptop I am testing on), and there appears to be no change in the du and df commands. This is the first time I have done something like this, what should I be testing to see if the new busybox has a problem with trinux? Thanks, Duane.
