I'm using it for rapid turnaround in configuration testing and for automated regression testing. You can change a trinux distribution and test it immediately. Boot up time is very quick, because there is no machine to initialize (no BIOS, etc.). You can have a script alter distributions and config parameters and test the results all by itself.
