Yes syslogd is started inside linuxrc. what determines this is the
var LOGHOST=`cat /etc/tux/options/loghost`. to send logs to a remote
system simply;
  # echo "-R remoteloghost.com" >>/etc/tux/options/loghost

i believe... see the linuxrc file #### syslog configuration ###
section to see what exactly goes on...
