Hello,

I have tried klogd. It works fine. I read the manual page, but it seems 
that no option is really necessary. So I just started

syslogd

It seems that the option -x will disable klogd to attempt reading the 
System.map file, and therefore avoid an error message.

So, "syslogd -x" seems to be good.
