If the SCSI will detect a disk OK, then you might load an older 2.2 kernel based OS on a small, temporary scsi boot drive. Hook it into the scsi chain and boot from it. Mount the (now accessable thru the Dell Rpm) Raid disks and do whatever you need to.. Or dd from the raid device (which might be found in /dev/rd??) to a waiting empty scsi drive.
