It would be nice to have the .config- files for all kernel-sources. I'm trying for over a week now to get a small working kernel with the sound-modules and still trying very hard. B.t.w., I'm also learning very much. I will stay with kernel 2.4.5. I have no need to upgrade. On my machine, making a new kernel takes over an hour. The reason I use Trinux is the very nice possability to get all done on just 1 floppy and get a fully working system with the packages-loading from http. It's rather a rather unique way of getting a full working remote system, independent of the server's OS. I'm not aware of similar projects. And now the questions: Please send me the config-file used for creating the net image disk with kernel 2.4.5 Is there anyone else on the list who is interested in configuring the task a remote client has to do (this is my main purpose of using Trinux)?
