I use a floppy boot, the iso image is the ide image i wrote to the floppy with the rawwrite utility. I have created a c:\trinux directory with the packages downloaded from the trinux site. > If you have modified it, what have you done, and > which version did you > begin with? I have downloaded the last version of trinux (0.80rc2) from the sourceforge site (latest directory). It appeared that i had to force the detection of the ide disk with the c:\trinux directory... So i fill the script named "last" to force trinux to mount the /dev/hda1 disk and to add the packages from the c:\trinux directory... See below the message i saw from the linuxrc script... > There are still some rough spots in the Trinux > system, and perhaps we can > steer you around them. > > Try to provide as much info as you can. I have inspect it quickly before forcing trinux to do what I want because i was very impatient to see trinux working :-)... All i know is that trinux, although the fact i have filled the "fstab" file in the "config" directory (2 lines : "hda1:vfat" & "hda5:vfat")... linuxrc told me that it doesn't find the /dev/hda1 filesystem... because it seems it tries to mount the /dev/hda1 filesystem in the /hda1 directory and this directory doesn't exist... The script doesn't seem to create it... I think it is because of my ignorance of how trinux works exactly... Maybe i do not use the right iso image for my floppy (ide iso image)... All i know is that i don't find any libncurse library and i don't know where to find them in order to open vi :-)... Now, my trinux works because of the "last" script i modified (Note that i had to suppress the commentary lines because one character seems to be interpreted by the shell program !... it is the "/" or the "'" character i think)... I can if you want, look into the linuxrc script to see what's going wrong with my configuration... > > Thanks! Thanks to you for your patience :-) (and sorry for my awful english... :-/) Laurent PS: Sorry, i have forgotten to send a copy to the trinux-talk distribution list :-/ > > On Thu, 15 Nov 2001, laurent BRAMINI wrote: > > > Hello, > > > > I am sorry for my ignorance...
