I had a bit of a look at webdav.org and come away more confident that we should make use of WebDAV for our repository. = It looks like the stuff that is currently "almost" standardised includes:= - basic file manipulation (create, delete, copy, move) - file locking - collections (aka directories)(create, delete, list) - properties - (eg. author, creation date, last modified date/by, etc) There are several extensions that seem to be close to standardisation: - version control - access control - ordered collections - searching They talk about the apache module which was created by them (as of versio= n 2, Apache now includes it in it's own installation and cvs tree). They clai= m that it completely implements all the things in the first list, and that = they plan to support everything in the second... So it looks good so far...
