Most of the people in the list above have been inactive for a year or longer. As such they should not have Admin permissions (add and remove released files) or Developer permissions (commit changes to SVN).
I vote that this list be shortened to the current (active) maintainers of this project: myself and Onsemeliot; when and if previous developers return, they will have their project permissions reinstated.
I want to know what others think about this idea, if it should be done or not, and why so.
EDIT: added profile links to the members table, for convenience.

Well, I was considering this too. Maybe it's a good idea to let Jasmine in there since she is the project founder after all and in the past she sometimes helped with small things. But I suspect she won't feel this is important herself.

I consider that Jasmine abandoned this project to work on the WebGL version. Therefore I believe it is highly unlikely she will return as an active developer here.
Her name is already in the credits of the game, so revoking her Admin permissions is not the same as pretending she isn't who started this project, instead I see this as technical pragmatism: she's not active anymore and the list ought to reflect that.
Of course, I'm not in a great rush to amend the list (which is of least concern to the players anyway) so let's keep talking for a week or so, giving time for more voices to join the discussion, and then we'll make the necessary changes as agreed.

That said, I see no good reason for "downstream" packagers to be part of the "upstream" development team, unless we would want to host the official Debian .DEB packages here on Sourceforge, which we don't, and neither do they.
In my opinion, if there's one more person to be kept, it's probably Iwan. Maybe keep him for administrative purposes in case we go inactive ourselves.

Since this thread failed to get attention so far, I have sent messages to landroni, jareiko and qubodup asking them to participate in this topic. So I'll wait another week before changing anything.
(Would be funny if Admins can't be removed; I didn't actually try to see. Then all this will look silly.)

Please do not do such changes without Jasmine's (@jareiko) consent. When she left the project, she gave Admin permissions to four users, and neither @ab396356 nor @onsemeliot were in that list. I don't think you have the authority to proceed with this.

Oh and for what it's worth, it seems to me that removing access rights from people who haven't participated in the last year or two is quite reasonable.

Thank you landroni and Jasmine for responding. I intend to wait some more, until 2016-10-27 (Thursday), to give time for people to discuss.
I don't mind being removed from the list of admins.
Your position will be reinstated at any later time when you wish to return as an active member here.
It's too bad you didn't have the time to help us with the post 0.6.2 releases, as I believe that certain new features would have been coded better than they were.

Maybe Stefan Potyra should be kept since he might still help with adding the game to Debian. (He is part of the Debain games team.)
I disagree due to his inactivity. It is Bertrand Marc and Gianfranco Costamagna who seem to be the active packagers now.
That said, I see no good reason for "downstream" packagers to be part of the "upstream" development team, unless we would want to host the official Debian .DEB packages here on Sourceforge, which we don't, and neither do they.

Well, this is fine for me too. I just wanted to mention what I know.

I just checked it. It's very easy to do. We just need to click on the names listed in the different permission groups ...

Well, there seems to be no struggle then ...

The member list has been updated according to user activity in the last year.
