tresMonitor / News: Recent posts

The tresMonitor team is proud to anounce the final release of this Java service-monitoring system. Main features:

1. declarative configuration in a xml file
2. extensible via user-defined Actions (similar to Ant system)
3. posibility to define test actions, fail actions, post-recover actions.
4. runs as a service
5. monitors local or remote services.

run.bat added to cvs. Minor internal changes: externalization of text strings using TextProvider class in combination with a properties file.
Improvements in the logging management, new LogAgent class to manage logging from each service and centralize control of outputs (files, console, ...)
